I have not much to say except two things, I regained my interest in You Tube (yes, I was kinda bored about it lately) and I found another amazing performance there…
Enjoy this little but greatly talented kid (12 years old! damn, I am so envious!) performing in a piano an exquisite version of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi”:
She is a little sweet old lady (she reminds me my grandma in a way)… but be prepared, because when she decides to open her mouth to sing, a massive voice would fill you up with emotions (yes, even though what she sings is not within my favorite music style, I fall in love with her ).
I have read somewhere that they referred to her like Christina Gagalera… and they insinuate that she had tried to copy the Lady in a desperate attempt of getting more attention… What I think is that if you cannot beat them, just join them, right? (what’s the point of reinventing the wheel) And Xtina did something like that with her new release “Not Myself Tonight”… but not copying the whole formula, not. If I have to point some differences I would say that Christina Aguilera is much commercial and Lady Gaga is more edgy when it comes to define her videos… but watch for yourself!
Remember the interesting animated video (N.I.B.) I recently released? Well, Its director, Tom Weston is a multi-skilled character and I didn’t even know!
I was at home last week, when someone rang the door and drop a package before I could see who it was… The messenger wasn’t important in that case, but what the box contained was! Two books autographed by the writer: Tom Weston! I was gladly surprised, because I didn’t know he was also a writer (I must admit that Nordic King was the one in direct contact with Tom). So I did some research and I found out that this man is a talented and hardworking man.
Here is his BIO (for more info you can go to his site):
“Originally from England, Tom now resides in Boston, Massachusetts.
Before turning his hand to fiction, Tom had a successful career as the CEO of a
consulting company, conference speaker and writer of industry articles and business books.
But determining that the business world lacked a sense of humor, Tom decided to hand in his jacket and tie and instead turned to the world of literature.
His novel, First Night, set in Boston during the New Year’s Eve festival, introduced the unlikely heroines, Alex and Jackie, and the ghost of a 17th century Puritan named Sarah Pemberton. First Night won an Honorable Mention in the Middle-Grade/Young Adult category, in the Writers Digest 17th Annual International Self-Published Book Awards.
The sequel to First Night, called the Elf of Luxembourg, was publshed in January, 2010. As with First Night, The Elf of Luxembourg is also a supernatural mystery, with a blend of humor and history that has become Tom’s trademark.
Tom is currently working on Book 3 of the Alex and Jackie Adventures, and is researching the background material for the story, which will be set in Ireland.
Tom has also written the screenplay, Fission, based on the true story of scientist, Lisa Meitner, and the race for the atomic bomb, and which was named a finalist at the London Independent Film Festival”

I haven’t read the books so far due to my lack of time! But I will and I will let you know what I think about them
I discovered the Swedish 2 formation band, Wahlström & Valiant a while ago when I stumbled upon one of its cool videos “2 Button Love“ (computer games theme).
The music this two guys do is amazing and their videos even better!
As I always say, words are not enough sometimes, so listen and watch for yourselves.
“Keep Up”
If you liked the band, become a fan in its Facebook page!

A special thanks to Director Tom Weston who have worked endless days with the pictures to make it into a video. We hope you enjoy the video and see the humor in it. Tom Weston is actually a book write and just released his second book called “The elf of Luxembourg”. Check it out!

Congrats, Ricky Martin… we all knew about this, but your confirmation shows that you stand for your own choices and decisions and that is admirable (even tough if it took you a while)!
And here, “Private Emotion”, one of your videos (which I really like) with Meja, a great talented and famous Swedish artist:
“This project was born at the beginning of 2000. Fernando Montemurro is the head behind it, who using machines, synthesizers, and samplers and mixed them up together with bandoneons melodies and tipical sounds of classic tango created this sound that will take you throught a new musical experience…”
The album shares the same name as the project and it was released in 2009. It has 12 marvelous tracks and it had received excellent reviews from all over the world (by the way, the female voices you hear in some of the tracks it’s me!!!).
Remember when I went to London and I played in the EQ live party? I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with another talented artist there, the sexy Brazilian soloist: Rodrigo Moratto. His charisma, great voice and sex appeal hypnotized the audience (guys and girls equally! Me included ) and his flirty electro-pop set the dance-floor on fire… what else could you ask, right??
If you want to have some of his music, you can find his new cool single “Whatever, Whatever” available in Itunes for download now.
It will be included in his upcoming album: “Budz In A Sound Drop” which will be released in a near future and it is as great as this single. I will keep you posted about it otherwise you can also find more info in his Myspace.
See him in action and after the show with me (a tiny pic! LOL).

Hey friends! You can find my Christmas package with free songs for downloading in EQ music blog as well… and once you are there, I recommend that you navigate through the posts and articles. I know you’ll love this blog as much as I do . It’s filled with music news, videos and lots of reviews, so don’t miss it.
PC or Mac, that’s the question, would have said a modern William Shakespeare, right? But seriously, to make a difference in a slideshow for one of my songs, which would have been the best?? My rookie question bothered me while I was staring at the white threatening device… I was resisting the idea, but my old Compaq is too rusty to make a good results. So, what the hell! I opened the tempting white apple and I let myself go!
Hours after that and having lost the sense of time, I keep working on it, and I am sure it will be awesome. SO this quick note ends here, my creativity is still hungry, I need to keep working .
I will post some unfinished version here first so you can tell me if I am on the right path (and please be gentle, I am not an expert in this area!).
The song will be available only in my Facebook page from this Thursday to Sunday.
And this is just a small advance of what is really coming (video, remix and more), so get ready!
Do you want to know the name and author of the original song? ummm, you will have to wait for that! I will be posting some clues on Facebook so you can guess instead of me revealing it directly, what do you think?
I’ve been away for some days, I know… I have been sick , in bed the whole week! But I can’t complain, I have been taken care of very well
Today I woke up feeling a bit better, but I’m forcing myself to take it easy though, coz I know how I am. My father used to say that I had ants in my butt… I was all the time running here and there, doing stuff, feeling useful! (so imagine a whole week in bed! was like a punishment )
Anyway, this period has not been completely useless… I’ve had a deep chat with my Nordic King and we redefined a lot of things about work and how to continue from here, with all the projects we have, so it was positive (and in a way it helped me to recharge batteries, which I will need for all that has to be done).
Something in advance? Oh, well, videos, the cover of course, versions of some songs, remixes, shows, etcetcetc…
So keep eyes, ears and hearts open, a lot will come soon
I’m working hard these days. I am preparing for the European fall and the upcoming shows.
This time the band will be different, less people, more machines (without loosing the rock essence of course). This way will give me the possibility of travel lighter when I go on tour
My work is focused on the show basically, preparing it and deciding how the set will be. This is not an easy task, believe me. I mean, being an artist is not just jump into the stage and sing and look gorgeous . There is soooo much more like what I just told you… And I am not easy to be pleased, I like perfection, so I am very strict with me and with my work.
This only lead to excellent results (though with a little bit of stress but hopefully I will take a small break right after New year).
I’m devoted to my music and my fans and you do not deserve less than that.
So keep eyes and ears open…
Btw, I am still working on the cover, (YES! delaaaaaaays… but this is something normal) a remix and a new video. Soon I will post more about this.
