As you know, one of the parties where I played last time I was in London, was organized by Electroqueer blog or EQ. The blog is wonderful, full of news, releases and articles about the electronic-pop music world (I highly recommend it). Raj Rudolph is one of the responsibles of the blog. A really hard worker that loves what he does (if you start following the blog, you will understand why). I can tell that he is always looking for new ways to improve his work and please EQ followers and what he has done recently proves my point. Check it out, a new blog to download free electro-pop music (with the permission of the artists, of course)!
As you already know my stay in London was due to several gigs I was performing there.
One of them was in the Electroqueer live party, a cool gathering of live bands, dj and hungry ears that was organized by the lovely blogger Raj Rudolph. The party was a complete success! But better than my words, check here EQ’s article about that day
I will be posting more pictures and news about the rest of my trip soon, so keep your eyes open!
Whenever I go to another city, I feel like a small kid. I want to see, touch, buy, experience EVERYTHING!!!! And London fulfills that perfectly. It’s never enough time though because I am not a simple tourist, I work my ass off rehearsing and preparing the last details of the gigs I have and that leaves not much room for the rest… Nevertheless and between shows I managed to do some shopping and I went to see a MUSICAAAAAAL!!! Yes! I did and it was fantastic! Nordic King’s choice and a good one! We went with a mutual friend and the 3 of us laughed so much!!! Here some pictures of the play. Oh, and the musical was Avenue Q, in case you want to see it
Yes, after working hard the whole year, I will be finally playing live again! This time, I will be doing a mini tour in a wonderful city: London!
I will be playing at Hoxton Lab’s EXS party on the 13th (celebrating Valentine’s day!!!), at EQ Live party (Electroqueer) on the 19th and in Bridge House II on the 21 st.
All of them are free entrance, so you have no excuse, you must come!
I like to recommend this band to you. Their name is Shh and the members are Diana Huarte and Daniel Gorostegui. They are from Argentina though they are also based in London.
Their electronic pop is unique but instead of trying to describe them in a clumsy way I rather use a paragraph that I found on the Internet and reflects the spirit of this band perfectly!
“SHH is electronic pop-Buenos Aires style. Hailing originally from party city Buenos Aires, SHH creates stylish, intelligent electronic pop that’s cramed with big tunes and rampages through everything from Italo to indie, house to punk, all delivered by vocalist Di, a blond bombshell collision between Grace Jones, Lady Gaga and Iggy Pop”
They have released 2 records already with a small record label from Argentina: Oui Oui records. They are starting a small tour in London and Spain to promote the second album: “Gaucho Boy”, so if you are interested in new sounds and you are around, go and watch them playing live, you’ll enjoy the party.
Here are the dates of their tour:
February 3rd Water Monto Rats, London.
February 5th Bar Uxoa, Hondarribia.
February 6th Club Nicolette, Pamplona.
February 8th Radio 3, Madrid.
February 9th Club Costello, Madrid.
February 13th Festival of Sins, London.
My friend Diana Huarte, lead singer of SHH (I will tell you more about them later on), took me to a cool party when I was in London.
The party was great! It’s name: EXS , organized by Hoxton lab.
I met the DJ that played that night, Kate Way, a red haired beauty that put groove and glam to the dance floor and then I saw the show of Vile Electrodes… But instead of telling you about them, check it by yourselves:
And here, a picture of me and the singer Anais Neon after the show:

What a small world! You know that we stars are always busy busy gravitating in the galaxy, right? Well, this time my gravitation was more like a race against the clock, coz I was running late (for a change) and I stumble upon another Swedish colleague, Martin Stenmarck. He was about to start a show in a small commercial center located in Hallonbergen, Sundbyberg (Stockholm). The small galleria was crowded, full of young girls (I wonder why) as I have never seen it before! but I managed to say hi! and listen to one of his songs before I kept running (but next time I will jump on the stage as well! promised! ).
