I felt like a thief! Entering in a quite building at night… stealing the far dull sound and then sneaking into the room to finally see them, all gathered together (around 70 persons) and singing one of my songs! Amazing! What can I say? They were so nice and the voices raised in harmony and passion… It touched me deeply.

If you like retro and the old times like I do, and with this I’m talking of those times when a cell phone was a luxury item impossible to fit in a pocket or the faster (and only computer) was the comodore 64, then you will like these 2 videos… Both videos have a nice Nintendo flavor!

They were recommended to me and they are from 2 different artists from Sweden.

The first one is more like the style of music I listen to.  Wahlström & Valiant a Swede artistic duet or as they call themselves, the  electro-break-beat duo with a passion for retro sounds (which I totally agree).

This two guys that come from a different musical background did a good job by joining forces and mixing their styles. I am getting to know their music meanwhile I am writing here and I know they will go to my personal music library!

This second artist as I said before is also from Sweden, though his roots come from South America like me.

His style is completely different to the other band I just mentioned, as he is deep into hip hop.

Pato Pooh is a young and talented artist that has been into the Swedish hip hop scene since 2002 and keeps it going. Winner of several awards and who has also a record company!!! Yes, he is 24 and he seems to be doing a great job! He writes and produces for other artists in parallel to his own music. Clap clap, chico! .

So let’s go back to retro and check his video too. I loved it! Btw, did I forget to mention that he has just released his new album?

how was summer time when I was a kid.

Those long almost eternal days that passed me by like a slow turtle…

No school.

Laugh, singing and games with my sisters and my friends from the block.

My father resting on the floor, no t-shirt on, trying to get some cold from the floor tile.

The early sun, raising up in my window and tickling me.

The warm starry nights…

Empty waffle cones for breakfast the day after my mom and dad went to the ice cream shop to ease their warmth and enhance their love

I remember summer days …

back to work!

I have been gone for some days. I needed it. I was exhausted and I am still, but some days away allowed me to relax and to recover some energy. People don’t realize, but if you don’t stop the routine from time to time, work and life in general become sticky and not 100% productive!

Fortunately I could take some days off (I said almost, because I will not lie, I worked a bit :/ ) and I visited the south of Sweden (Malmo to be exact) and Copenhagen!  Beautiful places, warm weather and lovely company!

Father’s day…

I lost mine several years ago and I still have him in my thoughts.

He was fun, kind, a bit crazy and emotional, sometimes (guess who I look like! ). He was a great man with a huge heart and a black big mustache!

I would love to have 5 minutes with him today, and tell him how’s my life now. What paths I took and where I am today (and how much is still left!).

A 5 minutes coffee… that’s all!

To tell him that I did what I wanted, I followed my heart and I am a singer now;  that I am in love with a great man as he was! and of course I would admit that I made mistakes he warned me about! Hehe…we would probably have an argue about it! But still, I would love to see his gentle eyes one more time and have one last hug, that’s all!

Not much too ask yet impossible to achieve. So tonight when I close my eyes, I will think about you and try to meet you in my dreams

We had a luxury party at home this weekend and I was the cook! (yes, I love cooking for my guests)

Before the party, the excitement and the expectations are great for both sides, the guests and the hosts, but the day after… the host suffers the consequences… I think this video express exactly what I mean

It was early June of 2008 when I took the idea of the song to the producer. A nice light Swedish summer and a song that would change forever from its first shape…a dry guitar, my clean voice and some lyrics that were transformed by the hand of Povel into “The Difficult Game”, a song with sensual synths and a slow tempo rhythm… an hypnotic atmosphere that explodes in an energetic chorus, full of passion, strings and distorted guitars. Of course that I had to change the original lyrics to fit this wonderful masterpiece! And as I was in a particular personal moment, the words turned to describe a dark side of my emotions…

Hey friends!

There has been a long time since I wrote to you!

I want to tell you about my latest work. It’s sort of a parallel project (but always Natubella), full of challenges and new ideas. …

It starts with: Athene’s Hymn.

This song is about a character of The World of Warcraft online game: Athene and her abilities and skills in that world… Probably many of you already know that there is a person behind that character, who is the one that brings Athene to life (you can find him between my top friends).

To create this song, I was inspired on him and his actions in the game.…I just let myself go and gave voice to this wonderful Paladin A powerful disco song that will contagious with energy, so enjoy it as I have while I was creating it!
