I was still recovering from a cold today (picture it yourself: running nose that doesn’t want to stop and an exhausted body requesting more sleep?) but that didn’t stop me for waking up really early (7 am!!!) and running to the closest HM to be one of the firsts to enjoy (and spend money on) the Lanvin collection for H&M! And it was totally worth it!
I love amusement parks, I love roller coasters and Stockholm has both and good ones!
I went to this amusement park: Gröna Lund in Stockholm Sweden, yesterday. I didn’t want to rise my hopes up, knowing that Swedes are pretty conservative and kind of shy… in a way (believe me, I have been here for a while!). But I rushed my judgment. Not only the park was full of people, even though it was a rainy day, but I realized that when they want to have fun, they go for it with no restrain! Check “Insane” one of the roller coaster of the park and its main attraction these days! The ride doesn’t last long and I think it’s for the best! See it for yourselves
Needless to say, I had crazy fun, wouldn’t have you?
It is not related to witches actually! Yesterday and as every year, the Swedes gathered around a big bonfire like trying to scare the last chill days away… does it really work? Is the winter gone for good? Ummm, I’ll tell you soon (so far everything remains cold! brrrrrrr).
This new start of the year was completely different from me. Instead of the usual sun and warmth from Argentina, I went to Ã…re, Sweden, right to the snow and coldness to celebrate with with my Nordic King and some friends the upcoming 2010.
Words are not enough to describe the beauty I’ve seen there and the fear I have had in the immensity mountains. The landscape was overwhelming. So I better show you some pictures instead!
From the bus, arriving to Ã…re, Sweden
Going doooooooooooown!
After a long day of skiing in Ã…re, Sweden
I hope that you all have had amazing celebrations and I wish all your dreams come true in this 2010 (but don’t forget you are direct responsible of that! ).
I am going on a ski trip to Ã…re, Sweden, to celebrate new years! isn’t it great? Only 2 days left and I will be there! Between the balance of the whole 2009 and the new projects for 2010, I will be up high ruling the mountain with my skills… To be honest, I have skied only once and it was long long ago, so wish me luck! hehe
I will go with my Nordic King, of course and 8 more friends, so it will be fun.
And I will charge my batteries for the beginning of 2010 that already seems to be very busy (I will be traveling to London in the 1st week of January among other stuff).
Last days of a light Swedish summer… We went to this amusement park (I love to jump into the most exciting and threatening rides, I must admit). We took a break meanwhile I was being interviewed by a psychic…
He proposed a “game” to me to test my magic abilities. I was supposed to guess what figure was on some cards. The were put in front of me, spread on the table, with their back up. There was a sticker in each card and I was supposed to draw the figure on each of them. When he turn them, if my drawing and the card shape matched was a point for me. 1 to 2 was considered normal, 3 special 4-5 was a real pro.
Guess what??? I was a PRO!!!

After that, we kept testing our courage in the scary rides…
